This is a serious article, sometimes I write about it and then you have to put up with, tie!
Recently I had a little problem with the PlayStation 3, or I do not read more than the dual layer blu ray discs. How do I tell?
First you need a premise: how to recognize a dual layer BD? The disk in question, if shot from the bottom, keeps strange reflections, as if there were coated in oil, while the single layer does not. (I have not found a shred of image about it: P)
Ordunque, to answer the first question, I tried to add a single layer BD and reading, while the other does not: D
I have documented a bit 'on the internet but I have not found much, but yesterday I was enlightened by this video I found randomly on YouTube:
In practice there is a Ventolone inside the console that is activated by following these steps (write it in which case no more to be seen in the video future):
- Eject any discs inside the console
- Turn off the console
- Remove the power cord
- Press the eject button the disc
- Holding it down, plug the power cord and wait for a beep .
doing so, run the fan that will clean the inside of your PS3 wiping dust (including slow reader) and, if you're lucky like me, everything will fail:)
I recommend if like me you've never cleaned: D, repeat the procedure several times, in order to expel the most disgusting things possible!
Now I wonder ... What would you do without me??
Edit :
As I was noted by JenaPlissken, I have beaten the big console FAT (the first version).
Fortunately trick also works for the friends of that console owners as you can see from this video:
Thanks for reporting;)
