Basically what happens? Well, our characters are all grown up and Elliot (the protagonist of the first film) who reunited ET warns that there is a serious threat to the Earth.
The aliens of the same breed of ET, but bad, bad to want to burn the human race and do so with fingers of flame-throwing.
